how the league works
all heatseekerz will be assigned one match per week. each match is to be played as a 6-game set with a 7-point tiebreak at 6-6. you and your opponent are responsible for coordinating the best time and place to play. match scheduling will be done through the heatseekerz whatsapp channel. if you do not have access, please contact us at tensionseekerz@gmail.com or through IG direct message @tensionseekerz!
if you or your mixed doubles partner cannot play a match for whatever reason, we will have a reserve of heatseekerz substitutes at various levels. we recommend to only use substitutes when it is absolutely necessary, since you also have the option to reschedule matches.
we understand that timing doesn't always work out. please be considerate of everyone's time. do your best to be on time! if you are unable to play a scheduled match, please provide a notice at least 12 hours in advance and reschedule.
every game you win counts toward your ranking. for example, if you win a set 6-3, you will earn 6 points and your opponent will earn 3 points. every game matters!
in addition to your assigned weekly match, you may challenge other heatseekerz to a 12-point tiebreak for extra points. the winner of the tiebreak will be awarded 2 points and the loser will be awarded the mbappe special. you are not required to accept the challenge.
at the end of the regular season, the top ranked heatseekerz from each division will compete in our epic end-of-season tournament, THE SEEKERZ OPEN. More tournament details will be shared as we get closer to the end of the season!
